I offer two distinct experiences to tell your newborn story, both designed to be calm, unhurried, and baby-led. You choose the setting that best reflects your family's story.
- In-Home Lifestyle (Shoalhaven-wide) For families who prefer a more natural, relaxed session, I travel to you. An in-home lifestyle session captures your family in your own environment—the nursery you so lovingly prepared, the master bed where you cuddle, the quiet moments of life unfolding. This style is less about posing and more about capturing the authentic connection and love that fills your home.
- On-Location Newborn (Jervis Bay & Shoalhaven) For families who feel a deep connection to the "untamed beauty" of the South Coast , we can take the session outdoors. This unique experience blends the intimacy of your new baby with the breathtaking, artful backdrops of Jervis Bay—a golden-hour field, the soft sands of a secluded beach, or the dappled light of the bushland. This creates a truly soulful and cinematic story, integrating your "visual legacy" with the landscape you call home.

Shoalhaven Newborn Session FAQs
When should I book my newborn photographer?
It is highly recommended to book during your second trimester. (From 12 weeks) I take a very limited number of newborn sessions each month to ensure flexibility for early or late arrivals. You can also book if when, and if you book a maternity session.
When is the best time for the actual session?
The "sleepy" newborn phase is very short. Macro Newborn Photography is best done when your baby is between 5 and 14 days old. Lifestyle sessions are more flexible and can be done up to 6-8 weeks
How long does the session take?
I schedule 2-3 hours for newborn sessions. This allows ample, unhurried time for feeding, changing, and settling your baby. The entire experience is relaxed, calm and baby led.
Do we need to have props or outfits?
I have a newborn Lounger and white sheer curtains I can bring with me to gibe your home a relaxed natural light studio feel. I will also send you a newborn session guide that will guide you in the best colours and outfits for you and your baby to wear for our session.
What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?
We will discuss moving our session into your home or rescheduling to a day which will be more favourable.
